Mission

The Journal of Human Rights at NYU, is a student-run publication dedicated to creating greater awareness and cultivating a deeper conversation about human rights violations around the world. We publish a journal every semester, with a range of academic, opinion and creative pieces discussing various human rights violations. In addition to our journal, we hold informal student discussions and debates throughout the semester, where we encourage any and all NYU students to come by and voice their thoughts and opinions.
